Rewinding rock at the ReMIX Hotel

Step back in time with a night of 80s music nostalgia. Velvet, neon and transistor radios await.

Covered with cassettes, the reception desk instantly sets the tone. Here, music is everything. Located on the edge of the Parc de la Villette - a unique complex combining natural spaces, cultural centres (the Cité des Sciences) and concert venues (Zénith Paris and the Philharmonie) -, the ReMIX Hotel takes its style from the world of music and the 1980s. Headboards are draped in velvet, a rotary dial telephone sits on the bedside table, fluorescent neon lights are scattered here and there, and vintage cathode ray TV sets cover one of the walls in the hotel bar. Real music-lovers will not be able to resist singing a tune or two in the music studio available to guests.

The retro rock ambiance offers a nostalgic sense of this era, which you can share with the children, as there are several rooms that can accommodate families of up to seven people. Meanwhile, the hotel restaurant, Marvin & The Gang pays tribute to the music of soul legend Marvin Gaye, from its decor through to its cuisine, which offers flavours of the southern United States. Mobile workers can take advantage of the co-working space, with complimentary tea and coffee, before taking a stroll along the Canal de l'Ourcq, which is just 100 m from the hotel.
