The ranch is located in Richmond, about 30 miles South-West of Downtown Houston. To access it, get out of town, take road 59, then Crabb River Road and the way will be clearly indicated. The welcoming party will wait for you on an entrance porch, flanked with seemingly never-ending white fences. Dressed in period cloths, your hosts seem to come straight from the early 20th century. Women wear long dresses, and men bandanas, Stetson hats and dusters.
The different buildings of the Park spread over a vast domain of more than 23,000 acres. You can choose to visit a completely restored pioneers' farm, a beautiful Victorian manor and even a cattle ranch complex. Many activities have been thought of for you, including a cow-boy show with lasso demonstrations. You can take part in the life of the ranch and even help looking after the calves with the advice of wise cattlemen.
