Le Jardin, a few steps away from the Marrakech Museum

After the success of the Café des Epices, Kamal Laftimi opened a second restaurant, Le Jardin, just as trendy as the café.

Le Jardin is located in the heart of the souks. This 16th century riad is welcoming with its Franco-Moroccan feel, and both décor and cuisine are lovely. You can stop by for coffee or enjoy lunch or dinner. French architect Anne Favier freshened up the place while keeping its traditional Marrakchi style. The lounges and terraces are decorated in green hues, echoing the green garden beautifully lit with lanterns. The decoration is simple, and streamlined, providing the perfect oasis for lounging.
Pick the house specialty, the famous Moroccan grilled beef and lamb! On the menu, you will even find vegetarian grilled dishes. Taste the chicken pastilla or tagine, as both are delicious. Before you leave, come check out the Norya Ayron, a nice clothing store on the ground floor. Upstairs, the pretty decks overlook the souks. In the summertime, you can come watch outdoor screenings of classic movies.
